From Sketch to Shirt: How a Painting Becomes a Print<\/strong><\/p>

Ever wondered how a raw idea on paper turns into a bold, wearable piece of art? For me, every T-shirt starts not in a factory or on a screen \u2014 but with a messy, hands-on process full of smudges, drips, and instinct.<\/p>

It Starts with a Sketch<\/strong><\/p>

Before the colour hits, there\u2019s the sketch. I usually begin with pencil or charcoal \u2014 raw, fast lines to map out a feeling more than a perfect form. Sometimes it\u2019s a face, sometimes a scribbled symbol, sometimes just chaos on the page that starts to take shape. The sketch is about movement and energy \u2014 nothing too clean, nothing too precious.<\/p>

Canvas, Paint, and Controlled Mayhem<\/strong><\/p>

Next comes the canvas. I stretch it out, tape it down, and let the background build itself. Layers of acrylic paint get laid down quickly \u2014 thick strokes, wild gestures, colour clashes that shouldn\u2019t work but somehow do. Then comes the spray paint: a hit of neon here, a blast of black there. Tags, textures, outlines. Paint runs, drips down the canvas, and I let it. The accidents become part of the language.<\/p>

Capturing the Chaos<\/strong><\/p>

Once the painting\u2019s done, it gets photographed in high resolution. I keep the texture, the grit, the drips \u2014 all of it. It\u2019s important that the final print still feels like it came from a real, physical process. I don\u2019t want it cleaned up too much. Imperfections are part of the point.<\/p>

From Canvas to Cotton<\/strong><\/p>

The final artwork is then printed on tees, hoodies, or whatever fits. I work with print processes that preserve the depth and layers of the original \u2014 you can almost see the brushstrokes and feel the energy. The end result? A piece of art you can wear. A little bit of rebellion, straight off the canvas and onto the street.<\/p>
